Communicating with other UKAT Members


Messaging Members

If you are logged in to the site, when you visit the Members page, each member entry will appear with a blue highlight around it as you move your mouse over the list of members. Click a member to view their member profile, which will include a Message button to send a message to that member. Clicking the button opens a windows which allows you to compose and send a message to the member as an email. Note: Unless you choose to reply to their message, your email address is never revealed to any member who communicates with you using this mechanism.  


Messaging UKAT Postholders

When you visit the Committees page, the entry for each member of the Executive Committee will appear with a blue highlight around it as you move your mouse over the list of members. Click an Executive Committee member to open a windows which allows you to compose and send a message to the member as an email. NOTE: You do not have to be logged in for this operation to work.


Messaging Other Committee Members

If you are logged in to the site, when you visit the Committees page, each committee member entry will appear with a blue highlight around it as you move your mouse over the list of committee members. Click a committee member to view their member profile, which will include a Message button to send a message to that member. Clicking the button opens a windows which allows you to compose and send a message to the member as an email. 

Joining the UKAT Slack Community

 The Online Discussions section of the Members Area takes you to a page describing the UKAT Slack channels. The Slack Signup link in the middle of this page enables members to self-signup to Slack.


Accessing Slack

 If you are logged in to the site you will see the Slack logo at the foot of each page. Simply click the Slack logo to open the UKAT Slack channels in your browser, or the Slack app if you have it installed.
