Conference Venue

The conference is being held at the Greenwich campus of the
University of Greenwich, Old Royal Naval College, Park Row, London SE10 9LS.

The Greenwich Campus is surrounded by the greenery of Greenwich Park and is located close to central London. It sits on a World Heritage Site and is located in the heart of Greenwich, south-east London. The neighbourhood has a lively atmosphere but is away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The campus is surrounded by historical landmarks, as well as Greenwich Park and a selection of bars and restaurants.

The is centred on three baroque buildings of the Old Royal Naval College designed by Sir Christopher Wren at the end of the 17th century. Many sites around the campus have been used as sets for films, such as The King's Speech, Les Misérables, Four Weddings and a Funeral, and The Queen.

By train

Docklands Light Railway (DLR)

The nearest station is Cutty Sark a two minute walk to the campus West Gate entrance. Direct services run from Bank, Canary Wharf, Lewisham and Stratford and easy connections are available from Tower Gateway, Beckton and London City Airport.

National Rail

Train services are provided by Southeastern, refer to National Rail Enquiries for timetables. There are two stations within easy walking distance of the campus both on the same line; Greenwich Station on Greenwich High Road (also a DLR station) and Maze Hill Station in Tom Smith Close. If travelling westbound for main campus it is quicker to alight at Maze Hill otherwise alight at Greenwich station. Please refer to the Google map for help with directions.

London Underground (Tube)

For connections from the Tube alight at Canary Wharf station on the Jubilee Line and get a DLR Lewisham bound train to Cutty Sark station. More info from TfL.

By boat

Thames Clippers operates a regular boat service from Westminster to Greenwich Pier (adjacent to the Old Royal Naval College) stopping at various locations on route. The journey takes 35 minutes in total and is possibly the fastest way to travel from Central London.

By car

There is no on-campus parking available but there is a public car park just outside the campus in Park Row.
