Established in 2013 to oversee the increased gallery spaces resulting from the Stockwell Street academic building expansion, the University of Greenwich Galleries now encompasses three unique exhibition venues on the Greenwich Campus: The Stephen Lawrence Gallery, The Project Space, and the Heritage Gallery. Each location boasts its own distinctive ambience, both in terms of physical setting and the style and content of its exhibitions. Together, they offer a diverse range of exhibition experiences to cater to the needs of various audiences.

Ranger's House - The Wernher Collection

Ranger's House, an elegant Georgian villa at the border of Greenwich Park and Blackheath, is home to The Wernher Collection. This remarkable art collection, curated by 19th-century entrepreneur Sir Julius Wernher, features over 700 artworks. Royal Observatory

Cutty Sark

Cutty Sark, the final surviving tea clipper, once held the title of one of the world's fastest ships. In the 19th century, clipper ships engaged in fierce competition to transport the first batch of fresh tea from China to the UK, and Cutty Sark was a prominent contender.

Since 1954, the ship has called Greenwich home and underwent a restoration from 2007 to 2012. It now stands three meters above the dock, allowing visitors to walk beneath its gleaming hull.
